Dr. Jose Colon, MD, MPH

Dr. Jose Colon is the Medical Director of Sleep Disorders Center at Health Park. Dr. Colon currently practices adult and pediatric sleep medicine for Lee Memorial Health System. He is a pillar of public health in the Southwest Florida community, is passionate about sleep science education, and is an advocate for children and families with sleep and neurological disorders.

Prior to practicing full time sleep medicine Dr. Colon founded the Neuroscience Center at The Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida. The Neuroscience Center continues to provide services for children with special needs and neurological disorders in Southwest Florida. Dr. Colon obtained his Medical Degree and Masters in Public Health with emphasis in Child and Maternal Health at the University of South Florida. He obtained his training in Sleep Medicine and Neurology with special qualifications in Child Neurology at Vanderbilt University.
